Pepper Burgers
1 lb. lean ground beef patties 1 cup short thin bell pepper strips 1 small garlic clove, minced ¼ teaspoon dried oregano leaves 1 ½ teaspoon olive oil ⅛ teaspoon salt 4 large rolls, toasted 4 slices mozzarella or provolone cheese
Place patties on grid over medium coals. Grill 7-9 minutes. Season with salt & pepper as desired. Meanwhile, cook & stir peppers, garlic, & oregano in hot oil in small nonstick skillet over medium heat 3 minutes. Stir in salt.
Place grilled burgers on roll bottoms; top each with a cheese slice & an equal amount of peppers. Cover with roll tops.
