Eric's Salsa

Ingredients

• 8 cups of chopped tomatoes
• 2 cups of chopped bell peppers, any color will do
• 2 cups of chopped onion
• 6- 8 hot peppers
• 1/4 cup vinegar
• 1/8 cup pickling salt
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp alum
• 2 TBSP cummin
• 1 can (12 oz) tomato paste
• 2 cans (15 oz) tomato sauce

Directions

• Step 1
  Combine ingredients and cook over medium heat to bring to a boil.
• Step 2
  Boil for 30 minutes.
• Step 3
  Ladle into jars (pints or half pints work best). Hot seal immediately. No need to hot bath.
