David and Julie met in September of 2004 though mutual friends while in college at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Julie had met some wonderful friends from Cathedral High School during her freshman year and decided to room with one of them, Viki Smith, during her sophomore year. David and his roommate Andrew were also grads from Cathedral High School and stopped by to visit with Viki. The girls apartment became frequently visited by David sometimes with or without Andrew. And of course with the help of Julie's roomies Ashley and Viki, somehow we ended up together more and more. David claims it was love at first sight although Julie needed some more convincing. We began dating November 14... and our story continues!
